Well. I used the old Billings and was pretty satisfied with it. Because I have to run two business administrations I needed to run a seperate kind of Billings program as well, since it was/is not possible to run more than one company administration in Billings. Fortunate for me (or so I thought) Billings just launched Billings Pro … Okay, it was a cloud app and at the time it was dollar 19,50 per month, but since I was satisfied with the normal stand alone Billings I thought it must be good, for this kind of money … So, I used it like two years and had not so much to complain about until I had no need for the program any more. So, I asked the people of Billings to end my subscription. They told me "… If you would like to close your account, please let me know and I will close it for you. Please keep in mind that if the account is closed, you will not be able to sync your data between devices or send invoices, estimates, or statements …" BUT what they meant was that the program would be totally dead. No possibility anymore to run rapports with the data that is in de program. This means that when IRS or any other tax autority comes in for an audit and they ask me to run some stuff it is impossible because the subscription ended … SO basicaly you have to keep paying Billings Pro up untill 7 years after you quit your bussiness in case of an audit by some tax authority. In my opinion this is such a flagrant disrespect of the customer that I for one will never choose for some cloud app again when it comes to billing software or important dossier stuff. Be warned. A BIG NO GO
